MISSION AND VISION OF OUR tag PROGRAM

Picture
Welcome!!!

Our program seeks to emphasize that there are many differences among gifted students and there is a need for specialized instruction to meet those differences. Basic to the philosophy of this program is the idea that no one teacher, resource, or instructional method can meet the needs of gifted students.  Education for the gifted is viewed as a cooperative endeavor characterized, facilitated, and realized by the efforts of numerous individuals in the schools and community.

Our goal is to enrich and expand the core curriculum for gifted students in the general education classroom, adjust the rate and depth of their learning, and provide opportunities to interact with other gifted students. We strive to differentiate through challenging instructional activities and enriching field experiences.
